Opinions on Reticle in Eotech XPS2

I'm going to put an Eotech XPS2 on an AR I own. The XPS2-0 has the 65MOA circle with one 1MOA aiming dot inside it. The XPS2-2 has the 65MOA circle and two 1MOA aiming dots (the second is for 500 yards I believe).

I'm leaning toward the 2-0 because I don't see using this rifle as anything more than a 100 yard or so gun. Yet, another part of me warns to get the second dot "just in case." I've seen some shooters comment that the second dot makes it too busy.

Any opinions on the choice of these two reticles in the Eotechs?

You will need the Eotech magnifier to make the second BDC dot effective, on the latter.

Thanks for the input. That makes sense. I'm not sure I want a magnifier so that helps with the decision.
