Opinions on Bushmaster AR-15 M4 A1

I found what I think is a good deal on a Bushmaster AR-15 XM-15 M-4 A-1 .223 in stock in a local gun shop. Apparently these guns were made up as a special run for them from Bushmaster. $800.00 Any opinions??

An A1? I wouldn't get an A1. A2 or A3, but not an A1 even at that price..............hpg

$800 for a brand new Bushmaster is a great deal.

I am curious HPG, are you partial to A-4 models or are you just not a fan of the AR-15? I thought this was a good deal and I am fond of the look of the A-1 being as it is an earlier model look. Thanks for your opinion, after all, our opinions on these black beauties may be the only that the AWB can't take away!

A4's are better, I agree, but for $800 that is a great deal, assuming it's all Bushmaster parts and not a franken gun...
