Opening Day

So i'm going to my grandma's this weekend for opening day and am going to have my Marlin 336 with me. I'm going to the range this week and so i was going to see what it likes best. What are some cartridges that your .30-30 likes best?

When I had a .30-30, the Federal Fusions shot fine in mine. I used the 170 grainers.

You should try some of the leverevolution from Hornady. They look pretty good on paper.

i'll try those. i have heard a lot of people compliment the hornady. i'm still open to more options to shoot though

Well my favorite is 170 gr Remington CorLocts over 31 gr H3895 and Winchester large rifle primers. Has worked for years.

Otherwise the Federal 170 gr load has always worked well.
