Olympic AR-15 Rifles

Anyone have an Oly AR rifle? How was the overall quality, fit, and finish?

Does Oly use non standard parts like Colt, or is it essentially a mil-spec rifle?

And lasly, are any of the Oly PCR rifles pre ban?

Oly PCR (Politically Correct Rifles) are all POST ban
the chamber is not milspec
it is a match chamber
the bore is not chrome lined
the pin sizes are mil standard

I like mine a lot. If you get it complete, the upper and lower fit real tight. Upper fits tight on my BM lower and my BM upper fits loose on my OLY lower. The finish it very close to that of my BM. The trigger pull is more crisp and lighter than my BM shorty. Very accureate. Have the 20" PCR-4 shoots well, better than me. My friend put a 1" 5 shot group with the oly at 50 yrds (I know not exceptional, better than me) compated to about 1.5" 5 shot group with my BM. Both stock with Factory Ammo. BM has a shorter barrrel could have played a small factor. All parts are standard. And it had the unmilled section in the lower. DZ covered the rest. Althought there are preban Oly rifles, they aren't PCR, because they changed the name of their rifles when then 94 crime bill passed.

But my Oly will always play second AR to my BM shorty not because it is an inferior rifle, but because the BM is my first love
