Old Citori question

I have a 1975 Citori which has choked barrels. It has a 3 on one barrel and a 5 stamped on the other, under the forearm. Can someone tell me what these barrels are choked to? Thanks

I don't know what the numbers mean, but I had a Lanber O/U that was marked 5 and 10. After finding no help to cipher the numbers someone told me that a dime would tell me what I wanted to know.

If the dime will not go in it is full.

If the dime just goes in it is modified.

and so on.

Hope that helps.

I'm assuming it's a 12 gauge.

Its a 20. I know that Browning notches thier choke tubes and 3 notches is a Modified and 5 notches is a Skeet. I might have to give them a call.

I thought Browning marked their fixed choke barrels at the rear left side of the barrel thusly:

'*' designates full choke (F).

'*-' designates improved modified choke (IM).

'**' designates modified choke (M).

'**-' designates improved cylinder choke (IC).

'**$' designates skeet (SK).

'***' designates cylinder bore (CYL).

Could be wrong though...
