I'm not looking to be the #1 contender, but would like to be fairly good with the weapons I have. I'm not looking to rearmor.....

I live in Northern Virginia and don't know where to start to look for competitions in either IPDA, IPSC, 3-Gun etc......

I can always find a good clays comp.......but don't know where to look for the others.

Anybody, anybody?

Thanks,

Ed

For IDPA matches in your area check the IDPA website, www.idpa.com.
You might also check with the NRA. I think some matches are held at the range at the headquarters.

Local Gunshops!

There are local clubs in many areas that host smaller shoots and generally post fliers in nearby gunshops.

Also agree with previous post by jhisaac about IPSC. Years ago there was some truth to the statement about having to own a "race gun" to be competitive. Thankfully that has changed.

I just began competing again after an 18 year break (shipped the daughter off to college last week) and it's great to be back. You'll have a great time, meet some fine folks, and your shooting will improve.

Regards,
Jack

SOME SUPER CLUBS

York, Pa; great bunch (and hopefully still have that 270` pit).
Fredricksburg, Va; didn't they host a National's?

Go to www.uspsa.org and use the 'club-finder'.

And welcome.
