Right now I only own one which is one heck of a match grade piece, but want to get a service grade one in the near future. My question is this. I am looking for a line launching attachment and line spools like the Navy uses. Being able to send a line 100 yds or better seems kinda handy. Anybody know where to find these? What about power cartridges, assuming that Milsurp isn't available has anyone reloaded any of these, what did you do? Also do all commercial grade M-1A's have a spindle valve block screw? Mine does, but it was built by a military armourer with some milspec stuff. appreciate any help.

Does your line launcher need to be a .308 ?
Mossberg has a line launcher shotgun specifically built to withstand marine/ocean conditions that can be found in their catalog.
