Holy Moses! Did Colt do that?!

That looks SO good. If I had something like that I think I'd have to wear white gloves to shoot it.

I guess that's why I like basic black too. I doesn't show the prints as badly.

I would be afraid to shoot such a piece for two reasons. First, fear of scratching the surface and ruining such a perfect polish. Second, if sunlight is reflected off of the side, someone is going to be blinded for life!:D

What make of camera is that I see reflected off the mirror finish of that colt?

Nice finish,

Nah, keep polishing man - don't shoot. Even if you can't get it any shinier, polishing is cheaper than shooting, and you won't get powder residue and fingerprints on it. :)

Hey, this same picture is on a listing for a Colt being sold on GunBroker. Are you selling your shiny Colt already?

I had one similar to it and it's 1 of 2 Colts that I will NEVER forgive myself for selling.

unfortunatly yes QB. If just WAY to much of a perfectionest for this type of finish. Its absolutely driveing me nuts. I put the add on gunbroker to kinda test the waters. If its sells, ok..if not, I'll just have it hard chromed for easier maintinance.
