Not made of money

For most of us, gear prices can be slightly cost-prohibitive.

So, I checked out Gunners Alley, and over a year ago (maybe a bit longer; my years keep getting shorter) I bought from them a Don Hume 'second' leather gunbelt.
Paid about $40; service was absolutely superb.
Been wearing it every day.

Recommend Gunners Alley as a fine place to do less-expensive business (I am partial to my Milt Sparks holsters, and a nice Galco Royal Guard in horsey for my 1911).

I'm currently testing a (IDPA-banned?) Uncle Mike's OWB for my 1911; paid $5 used.
Like it so far.
Bought a used Sparks 1AT for my 1911; you CAN buy used. For less.

I have bought several FISTS holsters through Gunner's Alley and they've always been great to deal with. :)

Holsters are the PERFECT place to save a few bucks. How many times have you bought a rig, worn it for three hours and decided you didn't like it? And there are no 'hidden' questions with used leather-it's either in nice shape or it's not, and looking at it can tell you in an instant.

What would be a GREAT idea is for someone to come up with a trading board for used holsters....
