Norinco SKS

One of the local pawn shops has a used Norinco SKS for $175. The rifle is about 75 to 85 percent. The one thing that I did see was at the end of the receiver near the tang end (I guess that is what it is call) there is a blot that goes through a hole from one side to the other. I know very little about SKS's, what is supposed to go in the hole? Is this a good price for the Norinco. I have a soft soft for the brand. Any info would be great, thanks in advance.

$175 is d**n good price for a Norinco. A guy asked the same question on here a few days ago, except his was $250 and we all advised him to jump on it. And I'm not really a fan of the SKS...

You can order that pin from this web page for $8. That's a good price for that gun unless it has something wrong with it.
