No aluminum CCI blazers in the Marlin 1894C

I think I know now why they advise against using them.

Out at my friend's farm yesterday, we shot some factory-loaded Winchester 145gr Silvertips, and ALL of them had bulged cases. I'm thinking that the aluminum-cased Blazers would just split in half. They work fine in a revolver, but don't ise them in an 1894C.

You should not have gotten bulged cases in that gun.
My Marlin 1894C doesn't do that, nor does any of my other Marlin leverguns.

I think I'm using the right ammo. They were brand new, factory-loaded Winchester 145gr Silvertips, .357 Magnum. Even my friend commented that all of the cases were bulged near the base. I didn't have my calipers with me, but you could visibly see there was a bulge about ~3/16ths" up from the base. The gun functioned just fine. Maybe I'll query Marlin and ask if this normal or not. I'll let you know what they tell me.
