Night Force riflescopes?

I'm on the fence about dropping 3k on one while looking through reviews I read there is no lifetime no questions asked warranty as other scope manufacturers offer. They sure are popular not wanting to bash anything just clearification

3K is too much, buy a March scope instead. But they are exceptional scopes, I have a 8-32 that I got used for $1000, and it is miles better than any other scope I own, including high end Leupolds. Only other scope I have that has optics almost as good, is a Konus.

I have a 8x32 NXS and it is really nice. Cost about $1800 a few years back. I would not pay 3K for one.
I have had 4 Konus scopes costing $50 to $300. I guess I'm a slow learner because they were all complete garbage and the warranty is worthless. I know others that have had the same experience.

I shot a benchrest rifle with a Nighforce scope. Two three shot groups at 100 yards, both were under 1/2 inch. I had never seen the rifle until just before I shot it. Both the rifle and Nightforce scope were AWESOME.:D

I have an Nightforce 8-32 NXS on a Rem 700 22-250 and a Vortex 6-25 ffp on an Anschutz MPR 64.

Both scopes are very good. The Nightforce was more expensive. It seems like it sold for about $1500. The Vortex was right at $1000. If the two were side by side today, I would buy the Vortex.

I have a Nightforce NXS 5.5x22x56mm on my .50, been there for 17 years now. It is one of the best scopes on the market and few measure up. I have had zero issues with it, even after it took a hit when my .50 partially fell off the bench.

Sure they're expensive but so are other quality scopes, they also have some of the best glass a scope can have. Warranty and customer service are second to none, so no worries there. Mine was $1,800 when I bought it, I think it's about the same price new if you buy one. The A.T.A.C.R. and BEAST are newer and have more/different features, ED glass... that's why they cost more.

I'll be in the same boat as you, doing a kit .50 and it will need a new scope or it will get the old NXS and the other .50 will get a new NF.

They are rock solid.
Many of the .50 BMG match shooters use them as they are some of the very few scopes that can stand up to a .50 (or anything else for that matter)

The only thing you won't like, is after you buy it, you probably won't be able tolerate low end glass at all, be it binoculars or spotting scopes.

Thanks guys for replies

I decided after talking with NF warranty people on the phone I'm buying it used 5X25x56 F1 ATCR 2200$.Factory problems are covered, we break it somehow they will only charge labor not parts and its transferable.
