What is a fair price for a New In Box Smith and Wesson 1006 , 10mm

I have seen them online for around $500 or so. Also, magazines seem to be plentiful as I have seen a bunch at the gunshows, usually about $25.

$500 sounds about right -- but I picked up a police trade-in 1076 a year or so ago for $325, and it was ANIB.

Didn't like it much; too much gun for me. (Physically bigger than I liked, and less pleasant to shoot than I like.) Call me a wimp.

I sold it back to the dealer I bought it from after shooting about three boxes of ammo through it. I took a $25 loss on the exchange, but figured it was money well-spent: I learned something about a 10 mm, had a chance to work with it a bit, etc.

I now have a custom 1911A1 (Norinco) and a EAA Witness Long Slide (match barrel, trigger, and sights), and they about as BIG as I want to go...
