For those of you that enjoy action packed westerns such as 3:10 to Yuma, Open Range, etc. check out the previews to Appaloosa. There is a lot of wild west gun action. There is a trailer to view on Yahoo Movies.

Looks like a good cast, but it looks like another -two good guys take on a whole army of bad guys and win- type movie.
I'll wait for the DVD.

"Deadwood" was good. Very good. But it ended two years ago.

I am ready for something new, mayhaps this "Appaloosa" is it.

I heard that they are going to make a movie based on the "Jonah Hex" comics. This should be good. He uses two Colt 44 cal Dragoons with ivory grips and his overall story is something like Josh Randel in "Wanted Dead or Alive". The actor to play him is the same guy that did the "Punisher". Can't recall his name.
