After finally getting the ok to make a new rifle purchase, I got myself an m444 FAL. Previous owner said it was shot a few times and has been a safe queen for years. The buttstock has a few minor scratches and one larger scratch by the recoil pad. It has a 21" barrel and muzzle device. Rifle came with one surplus mag in good to great condition and two new mags I believe to be DSA.
Rifle and two mags was $799. Anyone have any experience with this rifle or similar? Did I overpay? I will post pics and get a range report hopefully this weekend, weather allowing.
