I picked up a Savage Tactical in .25-06 with a bedded B&C OD/ black web stock over at savageshooters.com for $360 shipped
! I mounted a Burris Fullfield II, 3-9x40 on a B-Square 1 piece base w/ Warne rings. Then I worked up some loads with IMR 3031, Hornady 117 SPBT's,new RP brass, and Win primers. Then I finally got it to the range! After my cold bore shot, I made an adjustment, and then got a .353" (center to center) 4 shot group at 40yds. Moved it back to the 100 yd line and got a 5 shot group measuring .413"!!! I was pretty sure I'd like this rifle, but now I'd be lying if i said anything other than I love this rifle!!!
