new rifles

Just got a couple of new (for me-barely used) rifles. One in .35 Whelen made by Carolina Precision Rifles on a 1909 Argentine Mauser action with a 1.5-5X Leupold scope. The second is a Remington PSS .308 with a 1st Generation Springfield scope and Harris bipod.

Not getting the two rifles but telling everyone you got those two rifles in one post. You could have at least said you got one... then waited a few day and told us about the other.

Have some pitty on us.

Congrats, though. I wouldn't mind having either myself. Though I really couldn't use the PSS.

Have pity? I did. That's why I didn't mention the Springfield Stainless Loaded 1911

I've always thought the .35 Whelen is one of the most undeservedly ignored cartridges ever dreamed up. Lotsa thump, very efficient...
