I traded a Rossi 44-40 for a BDM that as far as the finish is concerned is new, it was bought new in '94' according to the paperwork I recieved.
Went to the range to test function used FMJ, JHP, RNL, and FNL 150 rounds no malfunctions accurate at 25 yds (didn't test at anyother distance)
It carryes good and is comfortable. I am happy with the trade. Actually have less than a $100 in it as far as money goes, tradding is lots of fun.

I have owned two of these BDM Brownings. Both of mine functioned fine, but had BAD triggers. I sold them because I could not get used to the backward working safety. The darn DAO, SA, and DA switching back and forth, was no real advantage. I made money on both.

As best I can tell mine has had a trigger job as the double action is about like a good S&W revolver and the SA is 3.2# the feed ramp has also been worked on very smooth.
