I am hoping that some TFL members in New Mexico can help me and a family friend. He left Massachusetts several years ago to live in NM. He left a shotgun behind with family and is now looking to get it shipped out to him. To make a long story short, he is giving the shotgun to me to hold for him, to eventually ship it out there.
Obviously I want to comply with all Federal and state laws. I would like to know what the NM state requirements are to possess a shotgun (so I can advise him) and can anyone recommend an FFL in Albequeque (sp?) it can be shipped to for legal transfer?
