Grrrrrrrrrr. I finally see what I thought were two 795SS models on a dealer's rack. I was quite bummed to find out that each was a 995. Picture the 795SS without the external bolt hold-open(and no automatic function, either).
I've done some surfing, and I don't know if this gun is NOS(New, Old-Stock). Or, did Marlin resurrect the old model number of '995' for a new gun? It looks like they are trying to be more price-competitive with the Big 'R'.
