I heartily recommend the new John Browning book, John Browning, American Gunmaker by John Browning (his son) available from your Browning Dealer. I just finished reading it and it brought back many memories. I first read the life story of John Browning many, many years ago and this new updated book is the best yet. One is amazed that one man could accomplish so much in one life time. When one realizes that todays handguns are often a great leap backward in design and function and offer little or nothing over the hanguns he invented almost 100 years ago it makes one stand in awe of his inventions and his amazing genius. There probably will never be another man like him, not in this century or the next. W.R.
