The Model 36-1 has pre-ban elephant ivory by Jerry Meacham.

I have a Colt unfired in the box and a 3 inch barrel model 36 that's traveled many a mile with me while horse back.

I love those walrus grips, they have just the right amount of "character". Beautiful Colt - and the S&W too.

I didn't care much for the stags that came on my SAA Colt - too much bark, so took 'em off & put the original Eagles back on. Will keep the stags for any of my sons or grandsons who might take a shine to them.
