new grips and lighter trigger question

A freind called me and asked i knew a way to take off the old smith grips and add some new ones to his S&W 4043,i've never done this so i'm coming to ya'll.

He also want to lighten the trigger pull,he doesn't understand the true meaning of DAO but if i can get some advice for this,too i'de be thankfull.

any parts list and website would be great.
