New Frontier Armory Polymer Lower

Got a chance to check on of these out. I liked it.

Still a little skeptical to be honest, but we'll see how it turns out in the long run. This is my blog write up on it. Got a few pictures on there for you.

I picked mine up the other day, still sitting in the box though. I plan on using a SOTA arms upper and a cheapo Barska or BSA reddot. It should be under $500 and will be all new parts... tough to do better in the market today considering almost everybody is out of everything if you're a mortal on a budget.

I have also wondered about the new frontier lowers, always had something holding me back though...

I bought one myself about a month ago to build a lightweight coyote rifle. Still waiting on the parts to finish it, but I was impressed with the lower. It mated up very nicely with my older Armalite upper. The trigger wasn't that bad either. Time will tell and I expect it will serve well. For $99, it is hard to beat. I'm going to replace the collapsible stock with an A2, but that's all I'm going to do to the lower.

Has anyone directly compared them to PCF's plastic lower?

None that I have seen. Would certainly be an interesting comparison. Maybe I should see if I can get my hands on one of those PC lowers.

I live down the street form New Frontier Armory here in Las Vegas and I Have to say what a A+ establishment this is!!

Great guys to work with and an excellent lower, especially for the price!!
