New Carry Revolver

When carrying a snubby revolver, I have almost always carried a SW J-frame. I ran into a Colt Agent a while back, though, that changed my mind. It has an incredibly smooth double action trigger. Supposedly, it was carried by a local detective (I assume as a BUG) who was into guns. It appears to have had a professional trigger job done on it.

It's got a little honest wear but is mechanically very sound. The parkerized finish is practical, if not pretty. This is strictly a "working" gun. I took it to the range a couple of times for function testing and to become familiar with it. Once I get a holster, it will be in the carry rotation.

Nice score, congrats!

I use a Colt Cobra as a BUG and off duty carry. Great revolvers.

I never liked the 5-shot J-frames. Why settle for one of those, when the Detective Special, Cobra, and Agent are available? Regards 18DAI.

Ever tried a Colt DA trigger before this?

It may be custom, but they were smooth right out of the box.

On the other hand, I always wonder about folks who rotate their CCWs. Seems like it would be better to pick one and be more familiar with it in time of need.
