New AR--First Shots

Got my new "Star 15" out yesterday evening for the first time and put 40 rounds of the cheapest American ammo the store had downrange. Once sighted in, I put 10 in a 3" circle at 200 yards. Not bad, considering I'm unfamiliar with the gun (first AR-15). The trigger will take some getting used to for sure. Next session I'll try some S&B M193 and some Hornady "Varmint Express". Good rifle--sorry I waited so long to try one.

Thats a pretty nice group with cheap ammo and your first time shooting it, once you get use to it and use good ammo I wouldnt be suprised if your group dropped an inch or so, keep up the good work :)
