Need sources for defensive use stats

I need as many sources as possible for the oft quoted stat that gun are used 2,000,000 times in self defense.

I have found some before but now that I need them I can't locate anything

I'm involved in a two faced debate where I assume the opposite of whatever the other poster's position is.

Basically i'm arguing both sides of gun control at once
