not sure if im the correct forum
i know nothing about derringer name brands
i am a new age gun collector [ nothing older than 2 years ]. i have semi auto's and a 357 mag revolver .
i always wanted a DERRINGER because i love the way they look.
i do not buy cheap breakaways [Jimenez etc.] name brands .
even-though its for collection purposes i like beautiful looking guns as well as functional.
i did a search and did not get the results i wanted.
i need to know what are reliable name brands of derringers ??
im looking for at least 38 special in caliber

No real experience with them, but I have heard that Bond Arms offer really good quality.

A lot of the current derringer designs are of rather low quality.

Bond Arms would be a good choice. They have an interchangable barrel and you can get just about any caliber you want. They are heavy and they are not cheap.

Bond- Texas derringers are probably your best bet, in just about any caliber you would care to shoot. My uncle carries a 45/410, it is a nice little chunk of steel.
