A while back I spoke with a guy who I think was out of Kansas. He had a company that made very nice higher end safes and lock boxes for pistols. The kind you might secure next to your nightstand. I cannot remember the name of his company. I do remember he used to differentiate between a "Safe" and a "Lock box." In California, he called his base line product a "lock box" due to special regulations and testing required for it to be sold as a "safe". He was a super nice guy, and I'd like to look into getting one of his products. Does anyone know which company I am talking about.
