NAA Gardian 380acp - shooting impressions

Well I am the lucky winner of a NAA Gardian 380acp (on-line proxy auction). I got a good price on it and it came with 3 clips, 3 holsters and the original box and looks to be in great shape. I already own a NAA 22mag mini revolver and its a great little mouse gun.

What I'm looking for is shooting impressions from others who own or have shot the Gardian.....

I own a couple PPK's in 380 are they comparable or does the Gardian have more recoil.

Thanks, Dan

Hi farnorthdan,

I did a search and turned up at least two decent hits.

The first was a general inquiry by a prospective purchaser simply titled "North American Arms .380", viewable here:

The second is, I believe, exactly what you are looking for - a range report on the NAA .380, done by none other than Playboypenguin himself. Read it here:

Hope this helps.

You beat me to posting a link to my own review.

Damn these Mexican servers!!!

I am paying for high-speed internet in my room and it is running at 22.2 kps.

It's not a clip!

It's three magazines that came with your gun.

Sorry, but there is a big difference.

I would say more, though not unmanageable by any stretch. Also, I find that the lower corner of the butt is driven directly into the palm of my hand by the recoil. After a while it starts to be uncomfortable. I made the mistake of running 4 boxes of .380s through my gun for break-in at one range session. The palm of my shooting hand was sore for several days after that.
