This is what I take when I go to the woods. Between the two I believe I can take anything that runs, jumps or flies on the North American continent. I use my single-shot 20 guage H&R shotgun for everything that I hunt from dove to deer, and the Blackhawk .45 Colt is back-up for Bears and UFO's. The holster is by Simply Rugged and even with a 5.5 inch Blackhawk .45 you will literally forget you have it on. I have carried all week turkey hunting and it is amazing. I think it is the sexiest piece of leather, save one that a lady friend was wearing, that I have seen in a long time, outstanding quality and carries very well. Under my BDU shirt is is absolutely concealed also. Just thought I would see what some of you take to the woods.
Can't imagine too many real world situations one of those can't fix!
