The speedy and brutally efficient Norwegian postal service is hard at work transporting my new teak 1911 grips to me from that master of the wood, Hakan Pek. The grips that came with my Colt WWI reproduction were ok, but not really my style. When he e-mailed me this photo I nearly keeled over. The features of the wood are something else. I don't think I've ever seen an obscene serpentine grain in a piece of teak before. Anyway, I have to show these off.
