Yes I have the disease called can't resist a 1911. I love how they shoot I have shot most of them a couple thousand rounds with the exception of the smith and the new springer. I can't wait to shoot it. I have another addition today at 12:00 a new xdm will. Post pics then.

ok well
i forgot to post a range report for my champion and xdm 9 but here goes. the first time out i shot it about 30 rounds and wow its nice smoothe is shoots a little more accurate than my 3inch micro springer. feels good in the hand just like any high end 1911. it has a heavier barrel seems to make a difference on recoil. i took it out again the next friday and shot another 75 rounds through it and it cycled flawlessly. now on to the xdm 9 it shot amazing put about 300 rounds through it and it cycles great also very accurate as i finally am getting use to it since i havent had a polymer framed gun in a while. i like everything about it so far only one issue but im not sure if its the ammo or what but the slide didnt lock back twice after the last round was fired. and it seems to eat ammo alot quicker than my 1911s due to the 19 round mags. i would recomend either of these two to anyone.
