My new Rimfire

Got my taxes back the other day. What better way to spend it then on a new CZ 452 American. I paid $389 for the rifle? Was that a good price?

They are a nice rifle, I was just looking at one in Gander for $400 this week.
BTW, it may say American on the rifle....but it is an import...LOL

The way things are these days, I would say that this is a fair price for a new one. The worst that I can say about them is that they have a cheap trigger guard that does not compliment the rest of the gun. Don't get me wrong, I think that lately, all guns are over-priced.

Unless you are new to guns, everyone knows where they came from. The main reason it's called the American is because it is made in the traditional American style as opposed to the "Lux" models or European style. The American will accept our standard rings where the Lux model takes an 11MM base rings and have to be special ordered from let's say; Millet. These are great shooters but when the price is close, I'll go with Ruger or Savage.

Doesn't have to as it has it's own look again, as opposed to the Lux models.
