My new Colt Defender

I broke down and bought a 3 inch 1911. Had a lot of fear about reliability based on other's comments, but this has turned out to be a GEM. Over 250 rounds now without a single mishap - This includes both hollow points and FMJ. Overall, the appearance is excellent, function is excellent and accuracy is great - I couldn't be happier.

Sweet. I have one. I carry it daily. Have about 4k rounds through it and I am now slowing way down on round count but the gun shows no signs of failing in any way. I am think they are awesome carry guns. Enjoy!

Congrats! It's an excellent handgun, plus it's a Colt.

(I'm sure you know that Colt made the first production 3" 1911 when they introduced the Colt Defender. :))

I've had a New Agent for about 6 months and 900 rds and it's never missed a beat.

Accurate and totally reliable.

Post up a range report as soon as you can!
