Awesome, gas check and everything!

I longingly looked at a 1000 round box of Wolf 7.62x39 ammo yesterday. It was $249. Last time I bought a case of 1000 it was $90. :(

American made 7.62x39 rounds such as Winchester, Federal etc, all use large pistol primers. So no hassle with the Berden primer crap.

Large Rifle primers, actually. Just wish Remington cases didn't use Small Rifle.

It didn't make sense for me to keep spending $7.95/box for ammo at the gun store or wait for a gun show so I can get a few measly $4.95/box, so I sold my Mosin and got the mold and dies.:D

Nice job chris how do they shoot in your rifles? Lee makes two molds designed for the X39,Chris has the C312-155-2R I use the CTL312-160-2R tumble lube version. I use the Lee .314 push through sizer to apply the gas checks. For general purpose plinking and small game loads I use 12.5 grs. of Alliant 2400,drops my brass right at my feet, for loads that are similar to factory ammo I use 14.5 grs. same powder but you will be chasing your brass unless you do the SKS gas tube modification.

The bullet does triple duty I use in in my 54r and size it down .001 and shoot it in my Sav. 99 in 300 Sav.

I'm also using the Lee TL312-160-2r---it's actually dropping about 168gr and finishing at 173 with the GC. 16gr of H335 cycles my AK nicely without any mods and drops brass in a neat pile about 6' away. Couldn't tell you velocities off the top of my head, but it has a nice bark to it. ;)
