My M&P15 has a new friend. AR-10

Felt bad that my M&P had no other "tactical" rifles in the house to hang out with...so bad, in fact, that I was driven painfully to get it a DPMS AR-10 to team up with. I do hope they like each other.

Nice DPMS, it's a LR-308, not a AR10. AR10 is made by ArmaLite only. It's a important distinction as many parts do not interchange between brands in the 7.62 platforms.

Got to shoot today just a bit...

.. excellent rifle... impressed with accuracy... its the ultimate

.. took some rds that i had originally made up for my bolt gun and shortened em a bit... shot 50yds 9 shots... standing freehand with iron sights..
... didnt measure but looked to be five inch group... maybe four

.. I thought it was good taking all points into consideration.

I really like my DPMS LR308 AP4..
I've had it for 6 years now and always impressed with reliability,accuracy,as well as fit and finish..Oh and my two prancing ponies gets along with it just fine
