It is a demonstration of the M169 upper for a M16/AR15. This upper is/was made by LRM firearms. IIRC, they are no longer in business and their last upper has been sold. http://www.lrmfirearms.com/suppressors/m169.html

Well, some folks like those slim .223 high velocity rounds and others prefer the big ole slow moving .45. There's plenty of choice in the type of gun you want. We all have different preferences and caliber is one of them.
