Just got my first sig yesterday. Can' wait to get to the range with it. Really impressed with the fit and finish and the trigger is awesome. And here are the obligatory pics:

Question about the diamond plate finish, are the marks deep enough that you can get some extra grip on the slide using them?

They add just a small amount of texture but not enough that it would really change your grasp on the slide

Anybody have a source for some range mags?

Do 226 mags work in the 229?

Might try top gun supply. They usually have mags for sigs instock and ship quickly.
