My first 9mm loads with Titegroup

This is my first attempt at 9mm reloading and using Titegroup. I have loaded 38/357 in the past. And yes I did buy manuals and have read them. The Lyman book lists Titegroup for 115 grain FMJ at 4.0 grains to start with a max of 4.5. The Hodgen book lists Titegroup at 4.8 for a max load. I originally thought a 10% reduction from the 4.8 would be around 4.3 and a good starting point.

115 grain FMJ HP - 4.3 grains Titegroup (4.8 is listed a max in the Hogdon book)
115 grain FMJ HP - 4.0 grains Titegroup listed as starting load in Lyman book

I have read enough on this forum to watch carefully for double shots with titegroup. The 10% rule doesn't leave much error with such a small charge.

Thanks all

I've found 4.2/4.3 shoots very accurately from my 9MM's with 115's. I've shot up to max but gained nothing furthur in accuracy.

I have had good success with 4.3 using 125 LRN.

I needed 4.6 for FMJ 115 to cycle my USP/XD reliably
