It shoots pretty good, I am very happy with how well it feeds and cycles, out of the box.

Dominion Arms is a Canadian company, the shotguns are Chinese made.

I have a sling plate and hogue overmolded stock set (12"LOP) en route, and I'll be ordering a XS Sight Systems "Big dot" tritium bead.

Took it out to the range and did some quick patterning at 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25M. It seems to be effective to 20M, but things are getting thin at that point. 25M as you can see, you're pushing it. I tested my 6 O'clock hold, and I was correct. Again, not a single FTF or FTE, she's running smooth.

I installed a Hogue Overmolded 12" LOP stock set and a slingplate. I'm a happy camper... OAL is just under 31". Now to refinish and a tritium sight of some sort...

looks very nice. if i could get a shotgun like that here or even the barrel here in NJ for my 870 i would love to get one or the other. as far as it being over 26" in OAL. it sounds legal here in NJ. but the barrel is less than the min. 18.5".

do they have a website?

Yep, in the states that's an NFA item subject to the $200.00 tax, the form, and the whim of your state's law and the local sheriff's mood. :(.

Even switching the barrel back and forth down here like he did in the "Frankenrem" picture would get you a one way ticke to the pokey. In the US that would be creating an unregistred SBS because the short barrel would then be on a different serial #'d receiver.

Only in Canada ...........eh?

Just ordered one today.

Looks like a nice little shotgun for black bear protection in Northern Ontario...........the place is crawling with hungry black bears since the Ontario government cancelled the spring black bear hunt.

It's nice to know that we have something legal in Canada that is illegal or restricted (NFA firearm) in the United States.

:rolleyes:Only in Canada........eh? (sounds like an old tea advertisement)

That is quite unusual in itself...........usually the converse is true.

I'm wondering how long they will be legal in Canada?

The Grizzly is made by Norinco. It is the same shotgun as the Norinco 981 bead sight & 982 GRS we have here in the US. The only difference is the location of the barrel lug ring. On the Grizzly it is in the same location as the Remington 870. The Remington barrels will work on the Grizzly.

I have been saying for years what a good deal these shotguns are. They are very well made for the money.

On the Norinco 982 shotgun the barrel can be cut to 14" and you will have 5+1 capacity with most 2 3/4" shells if you drill the dimples out. You also have to pay the government your $200 fee and do the paperwork before any cutting is done.

I'm planning on buying the one with the 5 round magazine from canadaammo. I just received my Possession and Acquisition licence. I hope it works just as well as your shotgun. :)
