My buddy inherited a Winchester Model 250 levergun. Worth?

He got it from his grandfather. Nameless unknown relatives snatched up all the serious guns. However, this little rifle he got is pretty slick. It is in as-new condition, without a scratch on it. He seems to think its eaten perhaps 200 rounds, ever, including the shooting he's done with it. He was wondering what it was worth, not that he'd ever sell it. (If he does, it's MINE. You can't have it.)

It's a hammerless lever gun, with a pistol grip stock and a curved fingerlever, caliber .22 LR. I don't think it's very old, but I'm not familiar with Model 250's at all, so I don't even know what they sold for. Anybody out there know about these neat little rifles?

Thanks for the help!

A retail price would probably be around $175-200. They were nice little guns, but made to a price. Not a big seller, mainly (IMHO) because they were not in the "traditional" lever action format.
