My ar15 mags stab my arm...

When im shooting prone my ar15 mags dig into my arm when im wearing a shirt, even the ten rounders. I guess Im just not holding my hand far enough forward but this agrivates me, when I shoot any other rifle and I scootch back I feel more cumfy. Anyone else feel the same way?

If using a multi position stock, shorten it a notch.
If using a standard stock, get a stubby stock or a multi position.
The only other option is to get a longer arm.

a1 buttstock will fit, and NJ has no say about it.

Get an M16A1 buttstock (7/8" shorter) from Numrich's for $6 and you will be in a little better shape.

Yes, no collapsible stocks for us here in New Germany. I guess I keep my short little arm in the right position, as the gunny taught me. Never had a problem with this one! Hmmmph. In what shooting position? Standing, kneeling, sitting, prone? All of these? I'm intrigued!
