MSR with Benelli's A.R.G.O recoil operated action?

I am reading and learning about direct impingement gas guns vs. piston driven gas guns, and I stumbled upon the recoil operated action on the Benelli R1 rifle:

(the youtube video shows the way their action works on their shotgun, but it is the same for their R1 rifle)

I like their R1 rifle but it is limited to a few calibers and it is of a traditional hunter / monte carlo stock style

How cool it would be to have Benelli offer a MSR with this action!

Don't know if they still make it but they made the MR1 (possibly still do). 223/556 and takes ar mags. Uses the ARGO system same as their other weapons.

It doesn’t do anything that the AR-15 doesn’t already do better, except appeal to markets where the AR-15 is banned by name or cosmetic features, or to people who just don’t want an AR-15 for some reason.
