Moving targets

My biggest problem shooting USPSA right now is moving targets. I don't have any problems when I'm shooting at stationary stuff, but moving targets force me to think about timing my shots, which basically leads to anticipating the break and my accuracy suffers.

I don't have the money or means to transport fancy stuff like drop-turners, texas stars, etc.

So does anybody have any ideas for moving/ momentary targets that are cheap and light?

I'm toying with the idea of building a star from PVC and water balloons....

Just regular balloons will work also and the breeze always gets them to dance.
A cheap remote control car with balloon or another type of target above it works well . One more is a zipline with a target hanging under then let it fly.
Hope this helps

I use a bowling pin hung from the neck on a target stand or whatever is around. Works great and becomes a moving target after the first hit.

As long as you or the target is moving its all relative. So you can practice running at different speeds to simulate a moving target without an actuall moving target. The hard part is finding a place to do it because its kind of embarassing. Good luck
