I have friend at work who has recently come into possession of a Smith and Wesson revolver. The only marks on it are: .455 Smith and Wesson and the grip has the number: 69457. I assume the number is the serial number? Can anyone shed some light on this gun, as I have no clue. Who makes the ammunition for these and what is it called?
