Mossberg trigger assembly not fully cocked

A friend went and accidently fired the trigger assembly while the Mossberg 835 was in pieces. It is similar to the 500 model. How to recock the trigger for reassembly/fit into the receiver?

If same as the 500, All you have to do is push the striker back down into place and the catch should hold it there.
