Moss 835 mag extension ?

I'm wanting to purchase a mag tube extension for a Moss 835. I do not want the tube to extend past the end of the 24" bbl. The extensions are advertised as 2-3-4 shot models. Which of these, either the 3 or 4 would run to the muzzle, but not past it? I've read the 3 shot model comes to near 2 " short, so would the 4 be flush or nearly so?

In most shotguns a three shot extension will be even with a 20" barrel.
So, I'd think a four shot would be shorter then a 24" barrel.

Thanks "wheel".

I've now read in one vendors site where the Mossberg 835 mag tubes are a tad longer than others and that one must use "one length shorter than normal" (the whole paragraph in the site was oddly worded) to stay behind the muzzle.

I dunno. Hoping to hear from somebody whose done it.
