More 10/22 mods..

1.Anybody know how I can modify my 10/22 slide to hold open on an empty mag?

2.Anyone used the Adams and Bennett Barrels currently advertised in Midway which have factory muzzle brakes?

Thanks.. I searched before posting, couldn't find any info on the above topics.
