Model 52-1: A good deal?

Hey, all--I need some quick advice.

I have lucked onto what I believe is a gem--a Model 52 on sale in town.

It has the original box, papers and wrench, with two magazines. It appears to be in about 95% condition. The gun store is asking $650.00. What do you think--should I jump on it or leave it alone?

Jump, that is a great deal on a great gun - IF you like bullseye shooting with .38 SWC shooting. I inherited one and it's very accurate and fun to shoot.

Now I need to get a companion S&W Model 952-1 to go with it

Yeah, that's one good deal.
love my 52-2. It's my favortie centerfire gun. Even better is when I get to shoot it in International Centerfire competition. Then it's the puuurfect gun!
NSK Made up some wadcutter for me, and it shoots really tight groups.
Best trigger I ever felt on ANY gun.
